Happy (Early!) Halloween!!

Hey guys, long time no see huh? I thought I might as well update my blog while I can :) Things around here have been pretty hectic and crazy. I just can't wait for Halloween and, even though I should have outgrown the excitement, I just can't! :) Haha.

So, here are the top ten things I love about the fall season.

1. The Leaves: I love watching the mountains as all the leaves change their colors. It makes me feel so blessed to live in such a beautiful valley!
2. The Air: Is it just me, or does the air always smell sooooo good during the fall season? I don't know how to describe it, truly, for those of you who've never smelled it. It's fresh, and sharp, and cold and... beautiful.
3. The Football Games: BYU football always starts in the fall and I love BYU football. There's no other team for me! (So if I have to marry someone they better not be a Utes fan, that's all I gotta say... :D)
4. The Hot Stews: Around this time is when my mother breaks out all of her great stews and warm soups. Mmmm, mmm good! Campbells chicken noodle got nothin' on my mom!
5. The Cold: Believe it or not, I really love the cold season. I know, everyone whines about it, but I love being able to curl up on my couch with a good book and just read the day away. It's great!!
6. The Costumes: I have to admit, this is one of my most favorite things about fall. Just around this time you see all the little ads for the kids costumes. I just think all the little kids running around dressed up as M&Ms and whatever is just so darn cute!!
7. The Candy: Okay, you gotta admit, this is probably the best part of Halloween. There's all these sales for candy in bulk and, as a weak willed person, I just can't help it. I love candy!!
8. The Family Time: Around fall is when my family gathers up at my grandma's house, and when I was really little, we'd all go trick or treating together. Even though I'm too old for that now, I still love going up to my grandma's.
9. The Parties: Ah... Because I'm now too old to be going from door to door, begging candy off of people, me and my friends have parties instead! I love just getting together with them and watching a not-so-scary-movie. It's great!
10. And finally... Halloween!! Now who's favorite thing in fall isn't Halloween? I mean, honestly! Thea candy, the parties, the friends, everything wrapped into one! -sigh- Got to love it!
