Deep Thought of the Moment:

If at least a hundred people know your name and visit your blog you're famous. Thus, I am famous. And vain. Whatever.

Pretending it's Tuesday...

I've been sick of my blog showing nothing but that lousy Halloween update I did last, so I've decided to change that. And, because I lack the patience to write anything new, I've been slogging through the vast amount of my old writings and found this charming little poetical verse/song lyric thingy that I thought I'd share. It's just for kicks, and to get that ridiculously old blog update away and done with.

It was inspired by the lovely Colbie Caillat and the amazing Jack Johnson. I hope you enjoy it!

Loryn ;)

Raindrops falling on the windowpane
There’s really no need to go anywhere
So I curl up in bed and wait
Wait while the world passes by
While everyone else twists and pulls
Their lives into something it’s not
But they’ll still try

I’ve never been anyone but me
It doesn’t matter what day of the week
So rain all you want, but make sure to shine
There’s nothing really too special about today
But just so you know, it’s Tuesday

Doesn’t matter where in the world
You decide to travel, to roam
Because I’m never too far behind
Sunshine, rain, Paris or snow
The little girl with those dreams
And her heart on her sleeve
I’ll be with you wherever you go

I’ve never been anyone but me
It doesn’t matter what day of the week
Keep on raining, don't forget to shine
There’s nothing really too special about today
Just in case you were wondering, it’s Tuesday

And I hope you don’t mind if this doesn’t rhyme
Because I’ve never been good at that
But it’s a song for you anyways…
A song about Tuesdays
A song about everyday

There’s never been anyone but you
It never mattered, no matter what I do
Rain and rain, always remember to shine
And there never was really something special about today

Just that it’s Tuesday…
Yeah, it’s Tuesday…
And I just called to say:
I love you

P.S. Yes, I know it's Monday. I know.
