Deep Thought of the Moment:

If at least a hundred people know your name and visit your blog you're famous. Thus, I am famous. And vain. Whatever.

You Know You're a Harry Potter Geek When...

... you see the previews for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and you nearly pass out with excitement.
...upon waking up from passing out you force your mother to buy tickets online for the midnight showing just so you can go and say you saw it first.
...you seriously consider dressing up for the premiere and then decide against it because, let's face it, a hat might get in the way of seeing the movie.
...you beg your parents to drop you off four hours early just so that you can wait in line and get a good seat.
...your parents disagree and make you go only two hours earlier, but you get a good seat anyways.
...you set a timer on your phone so you can watch the seconds tick down until showtime, excitedly showing it to everyone and anyone who wants to see.
...you buy cream soda before the movie and take it giggling, saying, "It looks like butterbeer!"
...the friend you brought along stares at you as if you're mental and then laughs.
...you start referring to people who are crazy as 'mental' and 'barmy' and things that are cool as 'wicked'.
...a person walks into the theatre dressed as Lord Voldemort and you almost lose your head because, quite frankly, it's terrifying.
...the lights start to go dark in the theatre you pretty much lose your head and start cheering along with everyone else.
...you nearly throw a fit when the lights come back up only seconds later due to problems with the projector.
...your friend next to you says--quite loudly--, "Are you serious?!" and you answer with a, "No, he died in the fifth book."
...you understood the joke above.
...the movie finally starts and you say, "That's not in the book, that's not in the book!"
...it doesn't matter that it's not in the book, you're enraptured anyways and can't take your eyes off the screen.
...you refer to all the characters in your head by repulsive nicknames like Won-Won just because it makes you laugh harder.
...you get so into the movie you don't realize you're leaning forward and practically in the seat in front of you.
...the person in the seat in front of you has to point this out and demand that you get off them.
...you giggle loudly at all the comments Ron makes, even if the moment isn't exactly supposed to be funny.
...you wish there was more Fred and George screen time because they're truly one of your most favorite characters.
...you can name all the characters that appear on screen, even before anyone makes any mention of their name.
...you can say most of the lines with the movie already, much to the annoyance of a certain friend sitting next to you.
...you like the scene they added, even though it didn't really make sense.
...you're angry because this time around the kissing scene was less then satisfactory.
...you nearly cry because one of the characters looks so sad and you just want to wrap your arms around him and give him a huge hug.
...you cry at the end when a character dies, even though you pretty much promised yourself that you wouldn't.
...the lights come up and you look around to see that everyone looks gobsmacked, the movie was that good.
...you're extremely sad at the end because, even though the whole thing was two and a half hours long, you still feel it wasn't long enough
....you look down and realize that you ate no popcorn whatsoever during the movie and your friend berates you for making her buy the medium size.
...you exit the theatre talking excitedly with your friend and somehow words like mental, barmy, and wicked have worked themselves into your converstations more often then before.
...she laughs at you because all your turn of phrases make you sound like you have a lilting tone to your voice, almost reminiscent of a very bad english accent.
...on your way out to the car you reflect on how many years have been spent on this Potter Phenomenon and sadly realize that, with the seventh movies coming out in about two years, it'll all be over very soon.
...you find yourself becoming very sad about this and so, to make yourself feel better, you go home and listen to Harry Potter on disk.
...you fall asleep listening to Jim Dale and you realize that you're a Harry Potter geek.
...you find yourself not caring because, looking back, it's been a wonderful obsession.

hahaha! I'm not that much of a Harry Potter geek, but I am enough of one that I found most of these funny. I wish I could have gone with you! That would have been so fun! I can't wait to see this movie... :)

Lol. The best was when you screamed and caused our little corner of the theater to scream as well. :D
