For Every Girl

So... I found this poem thing on the internet, right? And I thought, hey, that's pretty cool! But there were a few things (like word choice) that I didn't like so much about it so I changed some of the things so that now it kind of matches my standards. So, I didn't really write it, but I embellished it. Enjoy! :D

This is for every girl that has ever had a rainy day.

For ever girl that is scared to put her heart out there again, because she has been hurt too many times or so badly.

For every girl that has been cheated on, because she's not a one of those girls who goes for just any guy.

For every girl that dresses modest ‘cause she knows it's hottest.

For every girl who wants to be called beautiful, not hot, because she'd take beautiful over hot any day.

For every girl who gets her heart broken, because he chose that other girl instead.

For every girl that would love to have a decent boyfriend, but somehow gets bypassed and never gets a chance.

For every girl who would just once like to be treated like a princess, because she knows it’s what she deserves.

For every girl that cries at night because of another heartbreak that she swore would never happen again.

For every girl that won't drop her standards just to get a guy to notice her.

For every girl that just wants to hold hands.

For every girl that thinks kisses actually have meaning and aren’t just like candy you hand out to everyone.

For every girl who just wishes he cared more, but somehow knows he doesn’t.

For every girl who would just once want a guy to give their jacket up when they are cold.

For every girl who just wants him to call or text, just so she knows she’s on his mind.

For every girl who lies awake at night thinking about him, but then pretends that she doesn’t.

For every girl who shows how much she cares and gets nothing back.

For every girl that thought, “Maybe this one could be the one.” and was disappointed over and over again.

For every girl that laughs at him because she loves how funny he is, but makes him believe that it was at his joke.

For every girl who is just looking for that one and only and is having a rough time along the way.

For every girl that doesn't want a guy who just plays with her emotions but actually cares about how she feels.

For every girl who wants words backed up with actions.

For every girl that fell for all the lies only to find themselves alone in the end.

For every girl that gave her heart away to have it shoved back in her face and said, “Never again.”

For every girl that has faith that tomorrow will be a better day, I have something to say to you.

It will be. There will be rainy days, there will be hard days, and days that you never even want to get out of bed. But you will. Because you can't have a rainbow, without rain.
