Deep Thought of the Moment:

If at least a hundred people know your name and visit your blog you're famous. Thus, I am famous. And vain. Whatever.

You Know that Range Isn't for You When...

... your first day on range, you go to parallel park and the teacher has to grab the steering wheel, saying, "Now dear, careful there!!" What's he afraid you're going to hit? The Technology Building?!

... you're secretly afraid of actually hitting the technology building.

... you push the gas and the teacher yells, "Whoa!! Lead foot!!"

... the person sitting in the backseat of your car is shaking with laughter because, let's face it, a monkey can do better than you're doing. A blind monkey could drive better than you on that range.

... the instructor, who was really tough on everyone else and did a lot of yelling, seems exasperated with you and says, "It's alright dear. Just try again."

... the other person there who you thought was just as bad of a driver as you doesn't want to get in a car with you.

... the range teacher keeps hitting on the break because he's worried that you'll ram into the fence.

... you wince every time he hits the break and say, "I'm sorry! I'm sorry!"

... you make a break for it when finally you're done with your part of driving on the range.

... the teacher has to yell after you that you can't leave yet because you need to observe the next kid who has to drive.

... you wonder if he's only making you stay and watch because you were such a bad driver.

... the teacher turns and looks you in the eye and says, "It's okay, you'll get 'em next time!"

... you wonder if he was making fun of you for almost hitting those pedestrians that walked through.

... when it finally comes to assinging partners to drive with in a car, he makes you drive alone with no partner.

... you can't help but think that this is because he doesn't want to have to inform a child's parent that they almost died in a car with a fellow student.

... you realize that everyone who told you it was easy was lying just to make you feel better.

And last, but not least...

You come to see, finally, it seems like your parents may have been right for not letting you drive their car.
